How do I calculate how much flooring I need to order?
Measure the length and width of each room to get the total square footage, then add a 10% waste factor for cuts and errors. For herringbone or diagonal patterns, we recommend adding 15%.
Does my new wood flooring need to acclimate before installation?
Yes, hardwood and laminate flooring should acclimate in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 to 72 hours to adjust to the home's humidity and temperature levels.
What is your return policy for leftover boxes?
We accept returns on unopened, resalable boxes of flooring within 90 days of purchase, provided the product has not been discontinued. Please keep your original receipt for all processing.
Do you offer professional installation services?
Yes, we partner with licensed and insured independent contractors to provide professional installation services. You can request a measurement and quote online or at any of our showroom locations.
What are the shipping costs for heavy flooring pallets?
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the order and the distance to your delivery address. We also offer a 'Pick Up In Store' option at no additional charge for most items.
Can I install laminate or vinyl flooring over radiant heating systems?
Many of our vinyl and laminate products are compatible with radiant heat, but it is essential to check the specific manufacturer guidelines for the product you choose to ensure warranty compliance.
